Hi, I’m Rose.
I have been a tutor in NYC and the Bay Area for 6 years. I specialize in 5th -12th grade math (through Calculus), science, and test prep. I tailor each session to the needs of each student. I can help with material comprehension, completing assigned work, and offer material to build on what their teachers are providing. I love working one on one with students to bring out their best.
I work entirely remotely now. I find that a combination of sharing screens and writing on the screen is just as effective as sessions in person.
About me
I was born and raised in California and have an Engineering degree from Harvey Mudd College. I moved to NYC four years ago to dance professionally. When I am not tutoring, I am taking prerequisites to attend nursing school. I love the outdoors and have led backpacking trips for Girl Scouts for eight years.
